ABOUT WAVES WOMEN

Women deserve evidence about their own bodies.

We built Waves Women because “this works for women on average” is not a satisfying answer when you are trying to understand what helps you.

WHY WE ARE HERE

Too many women are left to search, guess, and quietly power through.

Hormonal symptoms can change from one day to the next, while slower patterns develop over time. Yet most health tools look at only one timeline, reduce hormones to fertility, or offer generic recommendations.

Waves Women takes a different approach. We help women form a hypothesis, run a structured 4 week test, and build evidence from their own experience.

That includes being honest when something did not appear to help.

What guides us

Trust is a product decision

01

Evidence over promises

We help women test what supports them. We do not pretend one recommendation works for everyone.

02

Honesty over certainty

Estimates are labeled as estimates. Results include what did not appear to help.

03

Independence over incentives

We are woman owned, independently operated, and focused on serving the women who use Waves Women.

Jessie

CEO/Founder

I build the data architecture, product vision and strategic roadmap where technology and AI solutions are used thoughtfully and ethically to honor complexity, embrace nuance, and empower self-reliance. Yoga, climbing, and breathing techniques ground me when most needed.

Comfort food: A rich bowl of ragù alla
bolognese or my nana’s shrimp dumplings.

Matias

Engineering Lead

I coordinate product and engineering to deliver new features for Waves Women. Mindful caffeine use, switching between sitting and standing, and keeping carbs in check help me stay energized and focused.

Comfort food: Sourdough toast with almond butter and a cup of good coffee.

Kaliu

Principal Software Engineer

I design the core technology that powers Waves Women to make it reliable, intuitive, and tailored to each life stage. Nature trips, camping with my dogs, and early mornings set the tone for my day.

Comfort food: Pizza or Argentine empanadas for a nostalgic taste of home.

Ariel

Senior Software Engineer

I turn designs into user-friendly interfaces that make Waves Women intuitive and delightful to use. General fitness keeps me active, and I find balance by connecting with nature through gardening.

Comfort food: Homemade burgers and pizza.

Chris

Design Lead

I design the full Waves Women experience so it’s intuitive, enjoyable, and supportive. Strength training and getting outside for short walks keep me feeling my best.

Comfort food: Fresh sourdough with salted butter.

Laura

Clinical Advisor

I advise the team on the medical and
scientific basis of the information we
bring to women.

Comfort food: Avocado toast with just
a few bacon bits. And malted milk
balls. Balance.

Shaping Waves Women, together
